LOOK: Free Lugaw Served By Duterte's Kitchen In Plaza Miranda During The "National Day Of Protest"

September 21, 2017 was declared by President Rodrigo as "The National Day of Protest." During that day, several groups showed their cause by participating in the rally in their respective areas.

The president said that he is “in solidarity with the people’s call against all excesses and shortcomings of the government, and with the people’s desire to uphold the highest standards of integrity, efficiency and accountability in government.”

Those that rallied in Plaza Miranda got a taste of kindness when Duterte's Kitchen, a small eatery in Cubao that opened last December to serve free food to street children, rallied up four trucks to serve free lugaw to the rally participants.
