LOOK: Unpassable "Estero" In Front Of Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Turned Into A Road

During the previous administrations we had, we got so used to having road demolished only to be rebuilt again even when the roads were passable anyway. We witness this everytime the elections are near, some people think that it is the politicians' way to let the people know they are doing something, or to allegedly get funds.

Rarely were new roads built out of something else. They were always existing roads that are just demolished for the sake of being rebuilt. While those that need to be fixed are left that way.

We got so used to it that the Build Build Build program of the Duterte administration is really a happy and welcome sight. It seems that with little progress, we really are going somewhere.

Following the earlier road construction in Timog to Edsa, a new road was opened in front of the unused "estero" in front of Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife in Quezon City.

What used to be a marsh that was unpassable and a pain in the eye was turned into a road that is 500m long. It goes from the Elliptical Road until Agham Road.

Drivers were interviewed and asked about it. They all said that the traffic was lighter and that the congestion during rush hours was lessened too.
