Rappler's Pia Ranada Gets Bashed For Taking RJ Nieto's Hollow Block Statement Literally

Pia Ranada, a known journalist from Rappler can't seem to get over what Thinking Pinoy Rj Nieto said in an interview with Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque in a radio program aired by DWIZ 882.

According to the transcript, Nieto told Roque as a joke to throw hollow blocks for impact.

"Pero Sir, kahit isang hollow blok magbalibag naman kayo Sir, para ano lang pakagat lang ganoon. [laughs]"

Roque answered that of course, they have to choose the target. To this, Nieto answered that for him, he'll target Pia Ranada.

"Kasi ako po, si Pia na lang po. Si Pia Ranada, Sir."

To this, Pia Ranada tweeted her sentiments. She called out DWIZ 882 for letting Nieto say that to his guest.

It seems that she can't get over it, she followed it up with another tweet.

And then she posted a photo of the transcript.

After 4 hours, she tweeted an update that she filed a complaint against DWIZ882 with KBP.

Some people applauded Pia and even told her that since Nieto is mad at her then maybe she is doing something right.

But. scrolling down at the comments in her tweet, it seemed that more people are bashing her than giving her encouragement. They can't get over how Pia can't seem to wrap her mind around the fact that the threat was not literal.
