Bautista Cries Foul, Raises Rape Card, and Says He Is A Victim OF Betrayal After His Wife Exposes His Ill-Gotten Wealth

Immediately after his wife Patricia exposed his allegedly amassing around Php 1 billion in ill-gotten gains, Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista now claims that he is a victim of betrayal and “rape” in his own household, in reference to how - according to him - the documents used in his wife’s affidavit were stolen, doctored and “invented” ten months ago.

According to the Comelec Chairman, one time after going back to the Philippines from a trip to the US, he found his own cabinet ransacked, including where he kept his documents. Prior to that, he says, he was barred from entering his own house.

Now that his wife has come out on national media, says Andres Bautista, although he had previously chosen not to say anything, he must now break his silence to defend himself and his family from being wrongly accused by his own spouse.

In an interview with Radyo Inquirer, Bautista said that he is also ready and willing to answer any accusations as well as reveal the pressure and extortion his wife has been doing to him. His wife knows that the ill-gotten wealth she has “exposed” belongs not only to him but also to his parents and siblings, he adds.

He has also hinted at a third party being involved on his wife’s camp.

Andres Bautista and his wife have 4 sons aged between 8 and 16.

Meanwhile, his “rape” statement on Twitter has been gathering flak from angry netizens, most of whom feel that the statement is misplaced and the analogy totally wrong. Most of the comments are also in agreement that Bautista is pulling the victim card to cover up the exposure of his misdeeds.
