Vice Mayor Parojinog, Victim Or Best Actress Awardee?

In a bloody, gory encounter between elements of the PNP/CIDG and the household of Ozamis City Mayor Reynaldo ‘Aldong’ Parojinog that left the politician, his wife, brother and 9 others dead in its wake, suspected shabu, arms and explosives were allegedly taken from the crime scene.

The late mayor was first referred to by President Duterte as father-in-law to high-profile inmate and drug lord Helbert Colanggo, who is currently detained in the New Bilibid Prison.

In relation to this though, Nova Princess Parojinog-Echavez, Ozamis City Vice Mayor, and daughter of the deceased couple, is making an appeal to President Rodrigo R. Duterte. In a video aired by GMA Network, the young woman is seen talking to the media in a slurred voice, claiming that the raid had irregularities because if not, the hard disks of their CCTV cameras should not have been removed by the authorities.

She then emotionally implored the president, as well as the Senate, to look deeper into the issue. Towards the end of the video clip, she is heard repeatedly saying, “Kilala niya ang daddy ko…kilala niya ang daddy ko,” possibly aiming to imply a tight connection between her father and Duterte.

In a separate video clip, also by GMA, she is seen in tears claiming that all the drugs, guns and all other evidence were planted when their house was raided and did not, in fact, belong to them.

Ironic as, in the same exact video clip, the vice mayor is also seen taking something from her bag and hiding it in her palm which upon inspection, turned out to be a sachet of alleged drugs.

Netizens’ reactions ranged from disbelieving to totally furious. In the Facebook page Duterte’s Angels where the second video clip was shared, majority of the comments were derisively praising the younger Parojinog for her “acting skills“.
