When the death of Ozamiz former Mayor Reynaldo "Parojinog" blew up in the news, a lot of people were confused as to who they were and why they were killed by the police. Especially people who haven't heard about them.

Yellowtards are off again in their never ending blame game pointing their hands towards the administration and stating that it was an overkill.

The police, through spokesperson of the Northern Mindanao police, Supt. Lemuel Gonda claimed that they were just supposed to serve search warrants when securities from the Parojinog started firing at them.

"Nagkaroon po ng pagpapaputok galing sa security ng mga Parojinog kaya po iyung PNP (Philippine National Police) natin is nag-retaliate,"
This is what the police said and this is what the never-tiring detractors are doubting. But, who are we to say? Of course the only ones who will be able to confirm what happened are those who were really there.

And besides, if this was an overkill, why are the people from Mindanao happy about what happened? Why are they "relieved" for being free from the Parojinog clan?

According to one Netizen from Ozamiz, the Parojinogs became the "untouchables" of Mindanao, they get their way and thet make sure to make everyone see that. The Netizen even thanked and congratulated the CIDG and the PNP for what they have accomplished.

“I’m from Ozamiz. Thanks to PNP CIDG congratulations. Thanks Tatay Digong for war on drugs. Tha Parojinogs lorded over Ozamiz as untouchables by the hands of law since time immemorial. So terrifying their names were hesitant to mention explicitly their names even as students studying as far as Central Visayas. The dreaded Kuratong Baleleng, where Lacson was once charged of rubout, hailed from their turf and their reach was vast and deep that it was reckoned they could give MILF a run for their money in gun fight.I had seen Aldong cried on TV when Digong mentioned him included in his list and it was then I know their good ‘ole’ days were over”

Another Netizen named Zy Rus rejoiced for the death of the former Mayor and claimed that they are now a "safe zone."

“OZAMIS IS STARTING TO REBUILD AND DRUG FREE CITY THANKS TO OUR PRESIDENT THE SHABU CAPITAL IS NOW A SAFE ZONE FOR NOW AMEN FOR THAT”

One netizen even shared her confusion and amazement as to why some people sympathized with the fallen mayor and his family even if it was clearly reported that they fought back to the police.

“Napaka amazing kasi may mga naaawa sa kanila kasi pinatay sila. Nanlaban naman sila! Namatayan nga ang raiding team ng PNP kasi lumaban. Jusko! Itong mga ibang pinoy!! Somobra na.”
