Ex-SAF Chief Napeñas Fires Back At PNoy: "Ako Ang Ginawang Sacrificial Lamb Dito, Wala Siyang Bay*g"

Former Philippine National Police Special Action Force (SAF) Getulio Napeñas cleared the issue about the change of plans that former President Noynoy Aquino was claiming.

According to Napeñas, there was no shred of truth to what Aquino said about the press briefing for the operation in Mamasapano last 2015 that killed 44 elite policemen.

In an exclusive interview with New5, Napeñas said that there was no change of plans regarding the plan they proposed to the former president.

“Wala kaming binago. Iyan ngayon lang lumalabas iyang binago na plan,”

Napeñas revealed that he even told General Alan Purisima and Aquino that the moment the enemies find out about their plan, the whole baranggay will know.

“Dito namin kailangan iyong suporta ng 6th Infantry Division or iyong military, tulungan kami sa paglabas at iyan ang alam na alam din ni General Purisima kaya ang sagot niya sa akin noon, ako na ang bahala kay [AFP Chief General Gregorio] Catapang. Binigyan niya ako ng assurance, naniwala ako sa sinabi ni General Purisima,”

But they really wanted to keep the operation a secret.

“Itinago nila itong operasyon na ito. Silang tatlo, si PNoy, si Gen. Mendez at saka si Gen. Purisima. Hindi nila ipinaalam kay Gen. Espina. Hindi nila ipinaalam kay Secretary Roxas. Hindi nila ipinaalam kay Gen. Catapang,”

Meanwhile, Aquino is trying to reason out that he only got Purisima as his consultant, but Napeñas also had the truth about this. It turns our, Purisima was not only a consultant because he was there from the start and he was the one arranging the plans.

“Sinabihan ako ni Gen. Purisima, ‘Oh, pumunta tayo sa Malacañang, mag-present tayo ng oplan.’ Consultant ba iyon? Eh siya nag-aarrange eh. Nakita mo na? Sino nagsasabi ng totoo? Ako o si PNoy?”

Looking back at what Aquino earlier said about the issue. HE mentioned that he is saddened that the death of SAF 44 is being pinned on him. He also said that he was just a victim of Napeñas.

Aquino also showed the presentation that Napeñas gave him, he also mentioned that there is no proper coordination between PNP-SAF and the AFP.

“’Yung sama ng loob… Ano ba masama sa utos ko sa’yo na kakaunti kayo, delikado mapintakasi. Manigurado ka, use sufficient force para sindakin ang iba. Anong mali doon na ipreserve lahat ng buhay nila at pati na rin ng kalaban,”

Aquino added that he was just fooled and that Napeñas just didn't follow instructions.

“Inaalis ko ba sa akin ang sisi? Hindi, naloko ako eh. Hindi namin natunugan na susuway dun sa usapan at sa utos. Wala akong atraso sa kanila, kung may utang sila sa akin, tanungin natin sila… Napeñas in particular,”

As a retort, Napeñas said angrily that if PNoy is angry with them, he and the SAF are way angrier at him. He even said that he is being made a sacrificial lamb.

“Ako ang ginawang sacrificial lamb dito. Ako ang nilagay nila sa alanganin. Sinira niya ang buhay ko! Iyan ang katotohanan dyan. Kung masama ang loob niya samin mas masama at mas masahol ang sama ng loob ng buong SAF sa kanya!” 

“Maalala mo nung pumunta siya sa SAF, hindi siya inimik ‘di ba? Even Sec. Roxas, walang umimik? Kita mo. Kung may namatay sa sama ng loob at saka mura, patay na siya saken,” 

Napeñas couldn't help but compare PNoy to the current President Rodrigo Duterte.

“Kung nangyari lang ito nung panahon ni Pres Duterte, tapos na ‘yan. Nagkataon na iyong presidente noon na si PNoy eh walang b*y*g na harapin ang kanyang responsibilidad. Ipinag-utos, ipapasa niya sa iba ang responsibilidad at sisi,”
