"Zero Corruption Under PRRD, 40% Under PNoy For Uban Planning" - World Renowned Architect

The world-renowned city and urban planner Felino "Jun" Palafox Jr. who is now the Principal Architect of Palafox and associates revealed something about the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.

It turned out that there was absolutely no corruption for the urban planning of Metro Davao and master plan for Clark. Palafox also stated that there was an alleged 40% corruption rate during the administration of the former president Noynoy Aquino.

Palafox and Associates won the urban planning design competition of Metro Davao and he also announced that they won the competition for the master plan of Clark. He said that they won both projects with absolutely zero corruption.

The architect said that he heard that there was 5-7% corruption during the administration of former president Ferdinand Marcos and 40% in Aquino's admin.

"Under PNoy, it's 40% on the average. Today there is good news. We won the urban planning design competition of Metro Davao at zero corruption."

Also according to Palafox, the administration of Duterte is an affirmation of what he has been advocating for the past 45 years already.

"an affirmation of what I have been advocating for the past 45 years.. About connectivity and context for urban renewal and development."

Palafox and Associates are the ones behind famous cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. He said that we can learn from the heads of states from the urban planning of their city.

"We can learn from the heads of state even in the areas of real estate and urban planning. The big mansions and those with high-density enclaves have higher carbon footprint of they are in the middles of the cities."

Lastly, he said that they are allocating themselves to encourage more urban sprawl.

"Prime urban land resources, preventing more families and employees to be closer to their place of work, encouraging more urban sprawl to enroach into the forests and into the farms."
