Asec. Mocha Called Out Archbishop Soc: "Ano Laman Ng Prayer Rally Niyo? Hatred."

Last November 5, 2017, Archbishop Socrates B. Villegas headed a prayer rally that was attended by the administration's opposing politicians.

The rally was supposed to be a prayer rally, it was called "Lord, Heal our Land." Inquirer reported that over 20,000 people attended the rally which were untrue according to some people.

Another problem that aroused with the said prayer rally is that it seemed to be full of hatred. This is what Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson noticed. She called out to Acrhbishop Soc for this in a Facebook post.

Uson addressed her open letter to Archbishop Soc. She started by saying that it saddened her to see the placards that were used in the rally. According to her, it's okay if it was an ordinary rally, but since it was a prayer rally, the Archbishop shouldn't have let the people use the said placards.

Nakakalungkot kung totoong itong ganitong mga placard ay nagkalat sa inyong Prayer Rally. Hindi po tama na hinahayaan ninyo ang mga ganito. Kung ito ay isang ordinary rally lamang maaaring ok lang. Ngunit ito ay isang Prayer rally di umano.

She also called out to the Archbishop to not use the name of God for their cause. She even gave a reminder about what Lord Jesus said regarding enemies, we should love our enemies.

Don't use GOD's name to push for your cause. Father nakalimutan niyo na ba ang sabi ng Panginoong Hesus na love your enemies?

She pushed further when she said that if they are angry with President Rodrigo Duterte, then if the law of God should be followed, then the right thing to do is to pray for PRRD and still love him. Instead of filling the prayer rally with hatred.

Kung galit kayo kay Pangulong Duterte bakit hindi niyo ituro na ipanalangin at mahalin pa rin? Di ba yan ang turo ng ating Panginoon? Ano ang laman ng inyong prayer rally??? HATRED.

Uson mentioned that she is also from Pangasinan like the Archbishop and she was sure he woulnd't like it if she called her "bauninam."

Ganyan na ba ang katuruan ninyong mga PARI? Taga Pangasinan din po ako katulad niyo. Ano po kaya ang mararamdaman ninyo kung gamitin ko din ang Pangalan ng Diyos at sabihan kayo ng BAUNINAM? Dba po masama at magagalit kayo?

Lastly, she called out for respect for the president the people voted for.

So sana po konting respeto naman sa hinalal ng taumbayan na si Pangulong Duterte unless kayo po ay isang bulaang propeta? Salamat po.
