As of now, we all probably know that Senator Antonio Trillanes flew to Singapore this morning to debunk President Duterte's allegations on him that he has off shore bank accounts.

The fact that the senator went there personally brought about some doubts, wherein some assumptions include that he went there to personally withdraw his money and cancel his account. After the cancellation, he can then safely asked the bank for a certification that he does not have an account there. Brilliant, right?

You all remember that account number. It is 178000296012.

Let me take you back to when this first started. So what how did this result to this?

It all started when a concerned depositor, deposited $50 to each of Trillanes alleged off-shore bank accounts. It all went back positive except for two accounts which were inactive.

A photo of the said allegation of the concerned depositor showed a different bank account to which the mainstream media are reporting now.

In the said allegation, the account number is 1178000281602. Far different from what is being reported now which is 178000296012.

Furthermore, to push Trillanes a little further, we dug around the waiver that Trillanes signed on September 11, 2017 that he addressed to the AMLC and the Ombudsman and saw that he signed the waiver stating the bank account that is the same with the photo in the allegation.

So the question is, if you are Trillanes, why would you personally fly to another country to inquire if you own a bank account there. Moreover, why would you give them a different account number from the one from your waiver?

I can think of a lot of reasons and not one of them is good.

Does Trillanes really think the Filipinos are stupid?
