Duterte: A soldier and former president are qualified to buried in LNMB

Duterte discussed the Aquinos and criticised them for refraining anything to stop burying Marcos in Libingan ng mga Bayani.

“The Aquinos has 12 yrs of term, pero anong ginawa nila? They did nothing to stop burying Marcos in LNMB.” President Duterte said.

According to President Duterte, he do not wish to hurt the sensations of the supporters of the late president particularly the people in Ilocos where Marcos is taken into consideration as a hero.

President Rodrigo Duterte protected his choice on the funeral of the late oppressor Ferdinand Marcos throughout his speech in Camp Navarro General Hospital in Zamboanga City Friday.

He also said that it's extremely hard to control the situation if the supporters of Marcos and also the anti-Marcos supporters clashed in Metro Manila.

He also believe that the Marcoses can charge him for not following the rule of law if he tried to stop the Marcos Burial.

“I am a lawyer. I am trained to follow the law. The Marcoses can charge me for not following, violating the law.” Duterte added.

The burial of the late president became an issue for 2 decades, some critics of Marcos suggested that he can be buried in Ilocos where he considered as a hero by the people.
