Last November 5, 2017, "Lord, Heal Our Land" rally was held in EDSA Shrine. It originally aimed to petition to stop the killings in the Philippines.
The list of attendees are mostly political personalities who are known to stand on the other side of the political fence.
One of them is Senator Bam Aquino who gave his speech that said that we need to stop the killings in order to heal our land.
"Well, unang-una 'yung panawagan ng simbahan, mahalaga talaga. Marami sa amin tumugon sa panawagan ng simbahan na unang-una itigil ang patayan. I think that is something that is common to not just politicians in the opposition but school heads, NGOs, church leaders, different religions. I think you ang very common thread na gusto ho naming talagang ipahiwatig noh. Right now, people are just fed up with everything. Talagang sukang-suka na sa deaths that is happening to our country. I think yung homily ni Bishop Soc was quite clear. Ang sabi niya, "kailangan na natin itigil ito. To get the part of healing kailangan matigil muna ang patayan sa ating bansa."

Rappler posted the said video. But instead of gaining support as what they call out for in their cover photos, it seems that what Bam said backfired. A lot of angry netizens made sure that they react and say that yes, "sukang-suka na sila sa kplastikan ng yellow party."
Here are some of the comments that was aimed at Bam Aquino.
What can you say? Does Bam Aquino make any sense at all?
