WATCH: Marawi Kids Turns Emotional As Soldiers Who Freed Their City From The Terrorists Leave

Last May 2017, home grown terrorist declared war when they tried to take over Marawi. Since then, soldiers were sent there to protect Marawi, Martial Law has been declared and lives has been taken.

After 5 months of war in the southern part of the Philippines, it was declared that we have taken over Marawi and that there are no more threats there. This is days after their leaders were killed by our military.

Because the war has officially ended, the soldiers were happy that they will finally be able to go home to their families.

Unfortunately, not everyone is happy that the soldiers are being pulled out from Marawi. The children that were living in Marawi apparently grew close to the soldiers while they were stationed there.

A video of children crying while the soldiers are inside buses on their way home is making rounds in the social media now.

A Facebook page name Apo Datuputi posted the video and it has more than 11k shares already.

In the video, several kids are seen crying as the buses filled with soldiers are getting ready to depart. They are telling the soldiers to just stay there. Watch below.


The comments section are filled with sentiments saying how heart-wrenching the video is.
