Risa Hontiveros' Campaign Donor Is Tagged For Smuggling P6.4M Worth Of Shabu From China

It’s explosive exposés galore for the Philippines lately. There was Tisha Bautista revealing her husband’s alleged billion peso ill-gotten wealth. Then there was Sass Rogando Sassot who discovered a connection between the Bautista issue and the Robredos.  

And then, earlier today, the Philippine media was once again shaken by the revelation that a certain, very vocal Anti-Duterte senator by the name of Risa Hontiveros, among others, had accepted campaign money from Kenneth Dong, one of the persons who acted as middlemen in the php 6.4 billion worth of shabu smuggled from China, and seized by the Bureau of Customs (BoC) May of this year.

Kenneth Dong, also known as Yi Shan Dong and Dong Yi Shan Xi, is considered one of the most successful businessmen in the Philippines at just age 33. 

He is also strongly connected to Richard Tan, who is allegedly involved in the billion peso shabu incident that almost escaped the eyes of the BOC. He is also the godson of Risa Hontiveros by virtue of his wedding.

The female senator, who very recently went viral AGAIN after dragging students of St Scholastica Academy into an Anti-Duterte rally, is said to have received Php 8 million total between elections 2013 and 2016.

The senator denied the claims and, although she did admit to being one of the ninangs at Dong’s Wedding, she also vehemently denied any close association with him.

Another political personality also neck-deep in the Kenneth Dong quagmire is Senator Joel Villanueva, who is said to have received Php 3 million for his campaign but claims that his campaign manager, name undisclosed, received it in his behalf. 

He claims that his conscience is clear and that he barely knows Dong, but wants to get to the bottom of  the truth.
