Paolo Duterte hits back at De lima: Please, do not use me to warm yourself up inside that cold room

Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo "Pulong" Duterte hit back at detained Senator Leila De lima after the latter claimed that his father's war on drugs is merely paving the way for him to rise as the country's number one drug lord and smuggler king in the underworld.

This was after Paolo's name has been dragged by customs broker Mark Taguba during the House committee probe into the P6.4 billion worth of shabu illegally transported last May through the Bureau of Customs (BOC).

According to De lima, the ongoing hearing on illegal shipment scandal proves  the earlier claim of confessed hitman Edgar Matobato that the Davao vice mayor is allegedly involved in smuggling.

In response, Paolo Duterte criticized the lady senator's hypocrisy by saying:

"Look who's talking! Locked up in jail for protecting Druglords and proliferating of illegal drugs. Do I need to comment?" he said.

He then followed it with a comment that reads:

Ito lang ang tanging masasabi ko kay Leila de Lima, kahit na ayaw ko sana magsalita kasi pointless na patulan ang isang taong nakakulong dahil sa pagiging protector ng drugs...

Kung "delectable" ang story at allegations against me, which are, by the way, based on rumors and entirely unfounded claims, ang story mo po ay luod. Kanang makasuka ko mag hunahuna.

Please, ayaw na tawon ko gamita. Do not use me to warm yourself up inside that cold room that is now your home.

Paolo Duterte earlier denied the new allegation that he is involved in custom anomalies, citing Taguba's statement was based entirely on rumors.

Meanwhile, President Rodrigo Duterte promised to step down from office if anyone can give him an affidavit proving his eldest son, Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, is corrupt.
