After Painful Burn from Inday Sara, Raissa Robles Receive Follow-Up Roast from Pulong Duterte

Raissa Robles definitely got what was coming to her after once again stirring the hornet’s nest by questioning the presence of “any other member of the Duterte family” in Marawi, or lack thereof.

This turned out to be another biggie in the series of massive missteps she has made since starting her career as a self-professed “journalist” on Twitter and Facebook. The ever eloquent Dutertes consequently delivered a figurative one-two punch that must surely have hit Robles hard in the gut. That is if she has one to speak of.

First, Davao City Mayor “Inday Sara” Duterte-Carpio, in her response post, called Robles Feather B (short for feather-brain – a moniker the mayor bestowed on the critic and keyboard warrior during a previous altercation on social media), mentioned in passing what they have done to assist Marawi, and proceeded to reiterate how they [the Duterte family] were not under any obligation to inform the latter of their actions. She also called the “writer” epal and chismosa, however indirectly, and ended by asking, “Ikaw, ano ba nagawa mo maliban sa pagtweet?” ([What about]You? What have you done aside from tweeting?)

That was hard-hitting enough, until it was time for Paulo “Pulong” Duterte to say his piece. As usual with the president’s first born son’s statements, his response to Robles was beautifully articulate and direct. Usually writing in English and Bisaya, the vice mayor and father of five deliberately and painstakingly posted in Filipino so that there will be no question that the avid Yellow-supporting Raissa Robles understand every single word.

Ang kailangan po ng mga bakwit ng Marawi ay tulong pinansyal, medikal, pagkain, pakikiramay at pakikiisa; at hindi po isang Pulitiko na magagamit lamang ang sitwasyon ng ating mga kapatid na Maranaw sa pampulitikang ambisyon. Kayo po, mukhang ang dami ninyong time sa Twitter, may time ba kayo para pumunta sa mga bakwit ng Marawi? Baka naman ngawa lang din kayo ng ngawa sa social media, batikos nang batikos sa pamilyang Duterte at sa administrasyon, pero wala rin naman nagawa para sa mga bakwit?Sana po ay bigyan nyo po ang sarili nyo ng kaunting pabor -- mag-pray po kayo. At imbis na tira ng tira sa administrasyong Duterte, pumunta rin kayo sa mga bakwit ng Marawi.O di kaya ay tumanggap ng bakwit mula sa Marawi.
