President Rodrigo Roa Duterte arrived in Hong Kong for the first time to pay a visit to Filipinos in the city before heading to Beijing this weekend for a high-profile development summit.

The 72-year-old President landed in Hong Kong after concluding a visit to Cambodia for this year's World Economic Forum on ASEAN, held in Phnom Penh. The Philippines is the 2017 chairman of ASEAN, the regional alliance comprising 10 countries in the Southeast Asian regions.

OFWs from different parts of Hong Kong were excited with the highly anticipated visit of President Duterte as they wanted to take a closer look to the President who really cared for the welfare of Overseas Filipinos.
