Detained Senator Leila De lima requested to allow join some of the Senate's session so that she may be able to work and cast her vote in decision-making even while she was IMPRISONED FOR DRUG-RELATED CRIMES.

De Lima wrote to Senate President Aquilino Pimentel 3rd dated May 11, 2017 in a three-page letter that she may be allowed to attend senate sessions since she still an elected senator and not stripped of her title YET. She'll be soon. She stated on the later that it is not too much to ask the court to let her join some sessions and be able to vote.

A few agreed to what she requested but majority of the reactions were against it.
